Product Introduction

Polyurethane Sound Insulation Mat Product Manual

I. Product Overview

This polyurethane sound insulation mat is precision-manufactured with high-quality polyurethane as the core raw material through foaming molding technology. It is a new type of acoustic material integrating efficient sound insulation, vibration damping and thermal insulation functions. Relying on the advantages of polyurethane's porous structure, the product can effectively absorb sound waves and block the transmission of structural vibration. Focusing on sound insulation and vibration damping of building floors, it is suitable for various architectural scenarios, and has the characteristics of light weight, environmental protection and durability, providing a reliable solution for the optimization of building acoustic environment.

II. Core Features

1. Efficient sound insulation: The porous structure accurately absorbs medium and high-frequency sound waves, while blocking impact noise and structural sound transmission, with better sound insulation effect than traditional materials; 2. Light weight and high strength: Light in texture, reducing building load, and has good compression resistance, not easy to collapse or deform; 3. Environmental protection and stability: Non-toxic and odorless, no harmful gas emission, anti-aging, waterproof and moisture-proof, and can serve stably in the environment of -15℃ to 70℃; 4. Convenient construction: Adopting coiled or sheet design, it can be freely cut and spliced, fitting the base course of building floors, adapting to various construction scenarios and improving construction efficiency; 5. Multifunctional integration: It also has certain thermal insulation performance, meeting both sound insulation and energy saving needs.

III. Application Scope

It is mainly used for floating floor systems of various buildings such as residences, hotels, schools and hospitals, specifically solving problems such as floor impact noise and neighborhood sound transmission; it can also be supporting used for sound insulation of building walls and ceilings, as well as vibration isolation of pipe supports in building supporting pump rooms and air conditioning rooms, suitable for architectural scenarios with high requirements for acoustic environment.

IV. Specification Parameters

Regular thickness: 3-12mm (5-8mm is the common specification for residential floors); Density: 30-80kg/m³; Fire resistance class: Class B1 (standard fire resistance grade for polyurethane materials); Appearance: Gray/black coiled material/sheet, flat surface, no damage, no caking; The size and acoustic performance parameters can be customized according to customers' building construction needs.

V. Usage Tips

Before laying, clean the floor base course to ensure it is flat, dry, free of sharp debris and oil stains; splice the joints tightly and fix them with special adhesive to avoid gaps affecting the sound insulation effect; reserve 5-10mm expansion joints around the walls to adapt to the thermal expansion and contraction of the material; after laying, cover with concrete or floors to form a complete sound insulation structure to avoid material damage.
